KG-IFA DEFEATS SLAVIA PRAGUE(B) 3-2, AFTER DOMINATING LONG PERIODS OF THE GAME

A excellent first half performance racing to a 3-0 lead with goals coming from former Marseille, FC Parma striker Amara Konate and attacking midfield – Ismael Kam Traore, former Espanyol de Barcelona and RCD Mallorca player. With the first 20mins having pressuring Slavia, they rarely came out of their own defensive half and with speed and technically ability we created a host of chances with South Korean winger Yuneui LEE causing problems for the Slavia Prague left side From the off-set KG-IFA players showed hunger and drive to get the first goal.

With Amara and Imsael giving problems with the Slavia defense we started to turn our pressure forcing mistakes and creating numerous opportunities which should have gone into the 2nd half with a 5-6 goal cushion. Our goalkeeper only had 1 shot at him and one cross to deal with.

We continued where we finished in the 1st half, again creating and opening up the Slavia defense with several opportunities with several 1 v 1 situations with the Slavia goalkeeper who managing to block some shots. Changes were made on the 65th min mark, forced by minor injuries and tiredness, we struggled to keep the same intensity and some players having to adapt into new positions we lost some direction and the pressing which we had in the first half with Slavia took the advantage in later stages of the match to score 2 goals towards the end of the match. Although the scoreline flatters slavia, we should have gone on to win much more comfortable.
