KG-IFA WINS 7 GOALS THRIILLER
After losing the first match, KG-IFA responded with a solid performance and win against former Czech premier league side 1.SC Znojmo running out 4-3 winners. KG-IFA making minor changes to the starting eleven due to injuries with Togba moving to left midfield and new South Korean left back only arriving the night before coming in. There were changes to the midfield defensive positions with Ji-man import from South Korea dropping into defensive midfield and new striker Danijel Jurisic coming into support is Brazilian striker dropping just behind. The game started on a very positive manner and pushing it’s visitors on the back foot from kick-off. Pressing very quickly from the front and midfield without giving Znojmo players little time on the ball. KG-IFA took took an early advantage after 11 minutes when an excellent cross was delivered in by South Korea Ji-Man corner from the right was met powerfully by french central defender B. Sarr. The lead only lasted few minutes when a mistake by Hamou. Cisse with the visitors striker reacting quickly to the mistake and placing the ball into an empty net.
KG-IFA took the lead within minutes from Brazilian striker after excellent work from the left with the striker popping up from the far post to place the ball into the net with a deserved lead. It was short lived when a foul was given on the left side of the box with a whipped free kick in the dangerous area where KG-IFA defender N. YONI out stretching and just manage to get his head on it unfortunately directing it into his own goal. After 30 minutes of play the team took the lead again with a composed finish by Slovenian striker D. Jurisic breaking the offside trap with an excellent through ball by Brazilian Maicon with Jurisic racing on for only the keeper to beat slotted it with quality.
Again, through individual mistakes the team gave too much space for the wide player to pick out with a cross which ended up at the visiting striker feet to thump the ball home making it 3-3 from close range. There was 4 changes 15 minutes into the 2nd half of the match which helped increase energy levels again although 1.SC Znomjo started to impose themselves on the game. After a 30 minutes of holding onto pressure from the visiting team, KG-IFA manage to find gaps in the visiting defenses and started to counter attack when ever possible and the team got a lucky break with excellent work from other Brazilian import C. Palma on the right side was able to pick out his countryman with a perfect weighted through ball on the half turn and Maicon making no mistake in dispatching the ball into the ball into the right hand corner of the goal on the 86th minute to finish the game 4-3 winners.
